The Donations

Brookings-Harbor High School Leadership class students unloaded the donations at the Brookings Harbor Community Helpers Emergency Food Bank.

The Brookings-Harbor Food Bank is able to help its clients this holiday season, thanks to support from the community and students at Kalmiopsis Elementary School and Brookings-Harbor High School.

According to the Brookings-Harbor School District, the Food Bank received 4,500 pounds in food donations from the Bruins — thanks in great part to the efforts of Kalmiopsis Elementary School students and their families.

The BHHS Leadership students organized the drive and unloaded the donations Monday, Dec. 17, at the Brookings Harbor Community Helpers Emergency Food Bank.

The class with the most donations district-wide was Kyla Siri's third-grade class.
