Tuesday 10/19:

  • At 00:20 a.m. the police responded to the 800 block of Highland Avenue after a caller reported a verbal dispute between a couple; parties separated for the night.
  • At 7:30 a.m. the police responded to the 500 block of Memory Lane after a caller reported a criminal trespass.
  • At 8:20 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 101 and 5th street.
  • At 10:14 a.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 15700 block of Oceanview Drive.
  • At 11:58 a.m. the police responded to the 600 block of Ransom after a caller reported a hit and run.
  • At 1:43 p.m. the police conducted a traffic stop on Pacific Avenue.
  • At 3:32 p.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the 800 block of Pioneer Road.
  • At 6:55 p.m. the police responded to the 16300 block of Grootendorst Lane after a caller reported a violation of a restraining order.
  • At 9:54 p.m. the police responded to Highway 101 after a caller reported a dispute.

Wednesday 10/20:

  • At 1:23 a.m. the police responded to Mill Beach after a caller reported illegal camping.
  • At 2:57 a.m. the police responded to the 100 block of north of Cape Ferrelo after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 6:10 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Chetco Avenue and Oak street.
  • At 8:13 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Chetco Avenue and 5th Street.
  • At 11:02 a.m. the police responded to the 500 block of Chetco Avenue after a caller reported a forgery/fraud/bad check.
  • At 12:04 p.m. the police responded to the 600 block of Pioneer Road after a caller reported harassment.
  • At 12:28 p.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 900 block of Brooke Lane.
  • At 2:36 p.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Chetco Avenue and Parkview.
  • At 2:39 p.m. the police responded to the 900 block of Chetco Avenue after a caller reported a violation of city ordinance.
  • At 2:52 p.m. the police responded to Cypress after a caller reported a fight.
  • At 4:30 p.m. the police responded to Chetco Avenue after a caller reported a hit and run.
  • At 10:59 p.m. the police responded to the 200 block of Lilac lane after a caller reported an animal complaint.
  • At 11:58 p.m. the police responded to the 2nd bridge of North Bank Chetco after a caller reported shots were fired.

Thursday 10/21:

  • At 4:06 a.m. the police responded to the intersection of Cypress and Maple after a caller reported loud noises.
  • At 8:18 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of ransom and Chetco Avenue.
  • At 8:37 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of chetco venue and easy street.
  • At 9:43 a.m the police responded to the Brookings area after a caller reported harassment over the phone.
  • At 10:22 a.m. the police responded to the 900 block of Chetco Avenue after a caller reported a traffic crash with injury.
  • At 11:37 a.m. the police responded to the 1300 block of Easy Street after a caller reported theft. A male was arrested for theft, cited and released.
  • At 12:31 p.m. the police responded to Highway 101 after a caller reported a safety hazard for upcoming traffic.
  • At 2:34 p.m. the police responded to the 800 block of Pioneer Road after a caller reported an animal complaint.
  • At 3:35 p.m. the police responded to Carpenterville Road after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 10:11 p.m. the police responded to the North Bank of Chetco River Road after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 11:58 p.m. the police responded to the intersection of 5th Street and Railroad Street after a caller reported an animal complaint.

Friday 10/22:

  • At 0:06 a.m. the police responded to the 98200 block of South Bank Chetco after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 1:04 a.m. the police responded to the 19900 block of Whaleshead Road after a caller reported a fight.
  • At 6:48 a.m. the police responded to Highway 101 after a caller reported an animal complaint.
  • At 8:06 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop in front of Brookings Harbor High School.
  • At 10:29 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 101 and Alder Street.
  • At 1:04 p.m. the police responded to the 400 block of Chetco Avenue after a caller reported a traffic crash with no injury.
  • At 1:23 p.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 1400 block of Glenwood Drive.
  • At 1:59 p.m. the police responded to the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue after a caller reported threats.
  • At 5:10 p.m. the police responded to Parkview Drive after a caller reported a traffic crash with no injury. A male was arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving following a single vehicle rollover accident that broke off a power pole, causing power outages for several hundred citizens.
  • At 6:20 p.m. the police conducted a traffic stop on Chetco Avenue. A male was arrested, cited and released for driving while intoxicated.
  • At 7:08 p.m. the police responded to South Bank Chetco after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 7:42 p.m. the police responded to Parkview Drive after a caller reported a traffic crash with no injury.
  • At 10:19 p.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 500 block of Spruce Street.

Saturday 10/23:

  • At 6:09 a.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 14600 block of Itzen Drive.
  • At 7:55 a.m. the police responded to the 300 block of 5th Street after a caller reported a traffic crash with no injury.
  • At 8:55 a.m. the police responded to the 96400 block of Coverdell Road after a caller reported a fight.
  • At 11:29 a.m. the police responded to the 700 block of 5th Street after a caller reported illegal camping.
  • At 12:41 p.m. the police responded at the 200 block of Lilac after a caller reported criminal trespass. The trespasser was gone upon the officer's arrival.
  • At 1:40 p.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 700 block of Pioneer Road.
  • At 1:44 p.m. the police responded to the 16100 block of Highway 101 after a caller reported disorderly conduct.
  • At 5:02 p.m. the police responded to the 600 block of Spruce Street after a caller reported criminal mischief.
  • At 5:18 p.m. the police responded to the 500 block of 5th Street after a caller reported disorderly conduct.

Sunday 10/24:

  • At 00:35 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop at Azalea Park. The driver was given a verbal warning for failing to obey traffic control devices.
  • At 00:56 a.m. the police conducted another traffic stop at Azalea Park. The driver was given a verbal warning for driving without lights when required and expired registration.
  • At 2:57 a.m. the police responded to the 16200 block of Highway 101 South after a caller reported theft.
  • At 7:06 a.m. the police responded to the North Bank of Chetco North Fork Bridge after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 9:16 a.m. the police responded to the 500 block of 5th Street after a caller reported an animal complaint.
  • At 12:56 p.m. firefighters responded to the 900 block of Marina Heights Road after a caller reported a fire. Smoke was reported on site but no fire was found.
  • At 2:21 p.m. firefighters responded to the 18700 block of Gardner Ridge Road after a caller reported a fire. A tree took down a power line, which started a fire. Fire and electric personnel resolved the situation.
  • At 3:11 p.m. the police conducted a welfare check at the 17300 block of Blueberry Drive.
  • At 5:51 p.m. the police responded to the 16000 block of Kings way after a caller reported threats.
  • At 8:44 p.m. the police conducted a traffic stop on Old County Road. The driver was given a verbal warning for failing to obey the control device.
  • At 8:45 p.m. the police responded to the Pacific after a caller reported a dispute.
  • At 11:19 p.m. the police responded to the 800 block of Old County Road after a caller reported criminal trespass. A male adult trespassing on church property was arrested, released with a court citation and moved along.

Monday 10/25:

  • At 4:42 a.m. the police responded to Oceanview Drive after a caller reported a tree was down.
  • At 7:45 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 101. The driver was given a verbal warning for speeding.
  • At 9:13 a.m. the police responded to the intersection of Pacific and Old County Road after a caller reported an animal complaint.
  • At 10:24 a.m. the police responded to the 800 block of Railroad Avenue after a caller reported an assault. Officers are investigating a week-old assault that was just reported.
  • At 11:45 am the police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Chetco Avenue and 5th street. The driver was given a verbal warning for an illegal stop and stand and having an expired registration.
  • At 11:54 a.m. the police conducted a traffic stop on Elk Drive. The driver was given a verbal warning for speeding.
  • At 12:24 p.m. the police responded to the 600 block of Pioneer Road after a caller reported threats. Officers are following up on threats between students.
  • At 12:52 p.m. the police responded to the 600 block of Old County Road after a caller reported a parking violation. A male was served an exclusion notice from all city parks for 3 months.
  • At 4:57 p.m. the police responded to the 600 block of Pioneer Road after a caller reported threats.
  • At 5:52 p.m. firefighters responded to the 98000 block of Hall Way Road after a caller reported a fire.
  • At 8:39 p.m. the police responded to the 1300 block of Easy Street after a caller reported an animal complaint.
  • At 9:23 p.m. the police responded to the 700 block of Chetco Avenue after a caller reported a violation of a restraining order. A male adult was arrested for violation of his jail release agreement and transported to jail without incident.
