The Brookings Police Department provides emergency dispatch services for the City of Brookings as well as Southern Curry County 9-1-1 calls, dispatching for state, county, and local law enforcement, five fire departments, and Cal-Ore ambulance.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

At 12:52 a.m., officers provided courtesy transport from the 1200 block of Chetco Avenue of four juveniles who were out after curfew to their homes, where they were released to their parents/guardians.

At 4:48 a.m., a report of criminal trespassing in the 400 block of Fern Avenue.

At 9:38 a.m., fire personnel were able to extinguish a small fire on a deck of a residence in the 500 block of Hemlock Street before it was destroyed.

At 10:01 a.m., a report of theft in the 400 block of Azalea Park Road.

At 10:52 a.m., a report of disorderly conduct in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue.

At 12:18 p.m., a report of a tree down in the Carpenterville area.

At 2:43 p.m., officers responded to a medical center in the 500 block of 5th Street for an agitated patient who was refusing to comply with staff.

At 2:50 p.m., an abandoned RV was tagged for tow on Lucky Lane.

At 6:14 p.m., an adult male was arrested for violation of a court release agreement in the 200 block of Wharf Street.

At 11:41 p.m., a report of a dispute/fight in the 800 block of Limbaugh Way.

At 11:43 p.m., a report of a minor in possession in the 1000 block of 7th Street.
