GED and Adult Basic Education scheduled for spring
in Curry County
Southwestern Oregon Community College will be offering GED exam preparation, college and career preparation, and college placement test preparation spring term in Curry County.
Students can build a pipeline to enter college, training programs, and jobs in high-demand career areas.
Orientation is scheduled for April 1 and April 4 at the Port Orford Library, at the Gold Beach Center for April 1 and April 3, and at the Curry Campus for April 2 and April 4. Orientation sessions meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and all new students must attend.
Classes will be held Monday and Thursday in Port Orford, Monday and Wednesday in Gold Beach, and Tuesday and Thursday at the Curry Campus in Brookings. All classes start the week after orientation and meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for ten weeks.
