A jury found Matthew Keith Quale, born 1963, of Gold Hill, guilty of first-degree rape, for which he was sentenced to 100 months in prison and 20 years’ post-prison supervision. He was acquitted of two charges of unlawful use of a weapon and one each of second-degree assault and tampering with a witness.

Travis Lee Rees, born 1989, of the Hunter Creek area, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and attempt to commit a Class A felony. Charges of first-degree rape and contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor are slated to be dismissed at sentencing.

William Arlow Daniels IV, born 1966, of White City, was convicted on a DUII charge and sentenced to 36 months probation, a one-year license suspension, 48 hours in jail, ordered to enroll in an alcohol treatment program and fined $2,355. A charge of reckless driving was dismissed.

Derek Mathew Wright, born 1981, of Eagle Point, changed his plea to guilty to a second-degree criminal trespassing charge and was fined $500.

Henry Warren Wright Jr., born 1951, of Sprague River, had a second-degree criminal trespassing charge dismissed.

Roy Thor Wright, born 1976, of Gold Beach, changed his plea to guilty on a second-degree criminal trespassing charge and was fined $500.

Jamie Beth Sands, born 1972, of Harbor, had charges of menacing and harassment dismissed.

Sydney Kate Ortega, born 1985, of Santa Rosa, California, was arraigned on a charge of first-degree theft.

Darren Mark Weston, born 1965, of Brookings, was arraigned on a charge of giving false information to an officer in connection with a citation.

Keith Karl Hulford, born 1983, of Brookings, was convicted on a charge of failing to appear in court on a citation and sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 20 days in jail and fined $620. Charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and third-degree theft were dismissed.

Laura Lee Wicks, born 1971, of Gold Beach, was convicted on two of 11 charges of identity theft. She was sentenced to 18 months’ probation, 10 days in jail and fined $1,000 on the first conviction and 18 months’ probation and a $500 fine. The other nine charges of identity theft and one of first-degree criminal mistreatment were dismissed.

Sarah Jessica Boydston, born 1994, of Brookings, changed her plea to guilty on a second-degree criminal trespassing charge and was sentenced to nine days in jail and fined $100. In a separate case, she pleaded guilty to third-degree theft and was sentenced to 12 months’ probation, ordered to have no contact with Fred Meyer or Goodwill and fined $200.

Cecil William Wright, born 1992, of Gold Beach, had a charge of second-degree criminal trespassing dismissed. In a second case, he changed his plea to guilty to unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, 10 days in jail, fined $500 and ordered to pay $20 restitution to a private party. A charge of third-degree theft was dismissed.

Stephen Alan Branton, born 1951, of Brookings, pleaded not guilty to charges of third-degree theft adn second-degree criminal trespassing and was released. In a second case, he pleaded not guilty to a second-degree criminal mischief charge. In a third, he pleaded not guilty to two charges of third-degree theft.

Zachary Jerimiah Renfro, born 1993, of Brookings, had his DUII diversion terminated and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, a three-year license suspension, 10 days in jail, ordered to enroll in an alcohol treatment program and fined $2,355.

Tylar Sands, born 1999, of Brookings, was arraigned on a second-degree theft charge and released.

Joel Charles Jones Jr., born 1968, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on a second-degree criminal trespassing charge.

Raymond Day Logan, born 1983, of Sixes, was arraigned on charges of second-degree criminal mischief and failure to perform the duties of a driver resulting in property damage and was released.

Brandon Jack Melsha, born 1995, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to taking a fish by snagging in violation of a wildlife law and was fined $440.

Jay Dee Marrington, born 1967, of Harbor, pleaded not guilty to snagging to catch fish.

Matthew Blake Storm, born 1993, of Langlois, was arraigned on a second-degree criminal mischief charge.

Brandi Lynn Robson,born 1985, of Port Orford, was convicted of driving with a suspended license and fined $440. A second conviction for failing to carry proof of insurance netted her an additional $265 fine.

Exeris Xavier Glass, born 1975, of Port Orford, was convicted on a charge of exceeding his daily take of sablefish and was fined $440.

Aaron Henry Longton,born 1961, of Port Orford, pleaded no contest to exceeding his daily take of sablefish and was fined $440.

John Robert Bowen, born 1955, of Coos Bay, was convicted on a second-degree theft charge. Two other charges of third-degree theft were dismissed.

Nicholas Vaughn Bolter, born 1995, of Port Orford, was convicted on a third-degree assault charge and sentenced to 36 months’ probation, 30 days in jail, enroll in a domestic violence program and fined $750. Charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and strangulation were dismissed.

Lila Irene Hensley, born 1988, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to second-degree disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 18 months’ probation, one day in jail and fined $400.
