There are no easy answers to the issue of homelessness in Brookings-Harbor. It affects residents and the homeless.

This “Discussion at Brookings Café” program, which airs on KCIW, will be recorded live 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Chetco Community Public Library.

Special guests include Beth Barker-Hidalgo, director of the Curry Homeless Coalition, Georgia Nowlin of the Curry County Housing Study and Father Bernie Lindley from Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Pilot Staff Writer Boyd Allen will host this discussion.

The event is free and open to the public. Audience members will be given a chance to submit questions for the discussion and to participate in a question and answer session following the discussion.
