Welfare check, 5:49 a.m.: An officer checked on a person asleep in her car in front of Circle K in Brookings after an employee tried to wake her. There was no medical issue. The woman had just fallen asleep in her car.
Disorderly conduct, 7:25 a.m.: A guest at Brookings Inn was told to leave for disorderly conduct. The guest left the motel.
Harassment, 8:08 a.m.: U.S. 101 and East Hoffeldt Lane.
Suspicious conditions, 10:48 a.m.: A transient following a child around Easy Manor Park was asked to stop. He then went into the restroom and refused to leave until an officer made him leave.
Lost property, 12:43 p.m.: A handgun was reported missing.

Suspicious conditions, 8:17 p.m.: Police received two 911 calls about an intoxicated woman attempting to cross Chetco Avenue at Oak Street but she kept falling down. An officer contacted the transient woman in front of the Pilot office and confirmed she was intoxicated. She declined medical assistance and was told to stay on the sidewalks.

Driving complaint, 8:25 p.m.: U.S. 101 at the Thomas Creek Bridge.
DUII, 9:10 p.m.: Between Railroad Street the Brookhaven Drive.
Dispute, 11:29 p.m.: A dispute between former spouses was reported in the 500 block of Fir St. The man left after it was found he doesn’t liver there and had no right to be there.
Loud noise, 11:40 p.m.: Officers arrived at the 200 block of Cypress Street and found a loud party was disbanding.

Dispute, 1:09 a.m.: Officers responded to a loud verbal dispute in the 600 block of Railroad Street. The people agreed to remain separated.
Assault, 1:19 a.m.: Police responded to a report of an assault in the 1100 block of Fifield Street. It turned out an intoxicated woman fell down while getting out of her car causing a bleeding injury to her hand.
Fire, 1:25 a.m.: Visible flames on Grootendorst Lane turned out to be from a backyard fire pit.
