Curry County Sheriff’s deputies and Oregon State Police troopers arrested two people in Harbor wanted on manslaughter charges in Coos County.
Arrested without incident was 46-year-old Michael Bowman and 42-year-old Christine Bush, who had felony warrants out for their arrest, both on charges of first-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault and first-degree criminal mischief, according to Curry County Sheriff John Ward.
Coos Curry District Attorney Paul Fraiser declined to elaborate on the 2015 incident that lead to the charges.
Ward said the Coos Bay Police Department asked for their assistance Thursday afternoon because Bowman and Bush might be in Curry County. Within an hour, a sheriff’s detective found the vehicle associated with the two at a home in Harbor.
They were transported to the Curry County jail before being transferred to Coos County.
