Curry County saw just about every form of weather — sleet, hail, rain, sunshine, snow — over the weekend.

Accumulations in Cape Ferrelo and the Carpenterville area exceeded 4 inches of hail and snow. The icy conditions resulted in a few minor accidents in south Curry County, and was pretty much all melted by Monday afternoon.

Temperatures dipped to freezing — the record low for the day is 28 degrees — and got to a high of 44 degrees.

The cold snap is forecast to continue through the week, with a 32 to 51 percent chance of precipitation this weekend.
