Crescent Harbor

Coast Redwoods Art Association’s Crescent Harbor Gallery at 140 Marine Way in Crescent City displays a collection of multimedia artwork by its Artist of the Month for January, Pauline Lodolini.

The Del Norte County Library at 190 Price Mall is also displaying work by member artists. Pat Thorpe will be showcased through January followed by Helen Coxhead McFarland through May.

Art in Public Places

The Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness’ (DNACA)Art in Public Places exhibit in the Del Norte County Courthouse at 450 H St. in Crescent City is titled “Window and Waves” by Suzi Fowler and is available for viewing through March 7.

Brian Scott Gallery at 515 Chetco Ave. in Brookings features oil paintings by Linda Evans, an accomplished artist in oils and pastels, for the month of January.

2nd St

California Redwoods Art Association’s 2nd St Gallery at 1228 Second St. in Crescent City exhibits a collection of photography from January’s Artist of the Month, Dawn Phillips.

The association also displays members’ collections throughout the community including Sutter Coast Hospital and its Infusion Center, Vita Cucina and Wild Rivers Community Foundation.

Arts and Culture

The Gallery of Arts and Culture at 175 H St. in Crescent City features the show “Art Safari” benefiting the Smith River Alliance as well as the artists.

The show includes watercolor and acrylic works created by artists Rick Tolley, John Crater, Andrew Daneil, Paul Rickard and Jeff Stanley. They spent two months painting in plein air along the Smith River from Myrtle Beach to Goose Creek.
