Wild Rivers Symphony will perform a trio of winter concerts, which will feature festive classical music.

The orchestra, conducted by Del Norte High School music instructor Daniel Sedgwick, include “Night on Bald Mountain” by Moussorgsky, “Firebird Suite” by Stravinsky, “Carol of the Bells/God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” medley, “Fanfare for Full Fathom Five,” “In Dreams of Zhou,” three selections from “Home Alone” by John Williams and “A Canadian Brass Christmas.”

The concerts will take place at 7 p.m. today (Dec. 8) at the Curry Public Library at 94341 Third St. in Gold Beach, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1200 Easy St. in Brookings, and at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Mary Peacock School at 1720 Arlington Drive in Crescent City.

Tickets are $12 at the door and students receive free admission. Advance tickets are $10 and may be purchased at Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach, Del Norte Office Supply in Crescent City, Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, or online at www.wildriverssymphony.org.
