Saturday, Feb. 17

Trash Dogs will head back to the Rogue River mill site to tear down an abandoned camper and clean up along Old Coast Road. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. in the Fred Meyer parking lot near the garden center in Brookings and at 10 a.m. at the U.S. Forest Service office in Gold Beach. Heavy rain will postpone the event until Feb. 24. Wear work clothes and sturdy footwear. Water, gloves and first aid will be provided.

The Gasquet American Legion will host a meet-and-greet from 2 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 1555 Gasquet Flat Road. Veteran service organizations will provide information.
