Today’s (Nov. 11) Brookings Second Saturday Art Walk welcomes fall with a new lineup of art, music and special events.

The Art Walk is from 3 to 6 p.m. at eight venues all within walking distance of Chetco Avenue.

Events start at 3 p.m. at Feather Your Nest where a live make-and-take earring demonstration and Sweat Britts candy and tea samplings will take place.

Then at 4 p.m. at Manley Art Center, there’s an interview with Michelle Chegus, Pelican Bay Arts Association featured artist, who creates drawings, photos and pottery.

That’s followed at 4:30 by a meet-and-greet with Brian Scott Gallery’s featured artist Judith Falconer, explaining her “Mystery of Motion” series of wildlife paintings.

Many venues offer free refreshments and have live music performed by artists representing a number of different styles.
