Santa has postponed his 1 p.m. visit to the Port of Brookings Harbor today (Dec. 2).

Jo Mochulski, of the Book Dock, said Santas visit was moved to Dec. 9 to avoid conflicting with funeral services for the Pendleton family scheduled near the same time.

Santa arrived at the port last December on the U.S. Coast Guard Chetco River Stations 47-foot motor lifeboat.

On Dec. 9, Santa will listen to childrens Christmas wishes between 1 and 3 p.m. on the boardwalk at the port. If it rains, Santa will be inside Slugs n Stones Ice Cream cones. People may take personal photographs.
