The Curry Student Success Fund recently awarded scholarships to seven local students who will be attending college or working on a professional certification program this fall.

This year’s scholarships ranged from $300 to $1,200.

The Curry Student Success Fund is a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides funding to students pursuing education at a college, trade school, training program, or certification program.

The seven 2019 recipients have varying educational backgrounds. Two are public-school graduates, two are Christian-school graduates, two are home-schooling graduates, and one is a mother returning to school to complete midwifery training.
