The Pelican Bay Arts Association has announced its summer art exhibition Art at the Port.

It is requesting entries for the event. This year’s theme is Wild About the Oregon Coast.

The event runs from May 16 to Sept. 12.

All South Coast artists of all ages and experience levels are invited to enter, from children to senior citizens and novice artists to professionals.

More than $1,000 in cash awards will be presented the winners. Registration began Wednesday. People can pick up an entry form at Wright’s Custom Framing in Brookings.

The 2021 exhibition will be limited to 70 entries on authorized panels. The registration fee is $10 per entry, with fees applied to the people’s choice awards.

Art at the Port is a nonprofit art exhibition at the Port of Brookings Harbor, curated by the Pelican Bay Arts Association and sponsored by the Oregon Cultural Trust and Curry County Cultural Coalition.
