It’s that time again! We will be having a clothing exchange Sept. 7 @ 10 am - 1pm at 543 Fern Ave.  Come by and stock up on clothing for ur back to schoolers and younger siblings!! We will be taking donations till Sept 6!!!

Brookings Harbor Community Theater (BHCT) Presents Movie in Azalea Park: “The Greatest Showman” Sat. Aug 17/  $10 Tri-tip sandwich meal served at 6:30 pm; movie at dusk (Approx. 8:15 pm). Movie by donation to support BHCT.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration for vendors for the 50th Annual Brookings Harbor Community Christmas Bazaar will be Sept. 9 @ 9am: Craft persons interested in gaining a booth can find all the registration information at the bazaar website www.brookingsharborbazaar.com.  Bazaar will be held on Nov. 16, 2019.

Local Heroes and Superheroes Unite!: Heroes Breakfast @ Elks Lodge from 8:30 - 11:30 am.  Curry County’s local lifesavers are dining with your favorite superheroes - Curry County Sheriff’s Department - Brookings Police Department - Brookings Fire Department - Cal-Ore Life Flight-  PLUS superheroes: Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, Iron Man & more. Cost: $8 for kids age 6-18 and $10 for adults

Disc Golf Tournament: Buffington Park in Gold Beach.  $25 pre-registration, $30 day of event registration.  (includes Gateway disc, t-shirt, Langlois Market world famous hotdog meal, and entry into raffle.  To register: go to www.currych.org.  Prizes include drones, $500 gift card to Back Country Bikes and more!!

Crescent City’s 35th Triathlon starts at Fred Endert Municipal Pool for adults and kids.  Adult duatholn and relay teams compete also.  Swim in the pool, bike along the ocean.
