The League of Women Voters Curry County will be holding Candidate Forums on ZOOM on Oct. 5, 6, and 7. They will be recorded and available shortly thereafter on Channel 182, Curry County Voices.com, lwvcurry.org and vote 411.org via YouTube. Additionally, larger League counties will make the U.S. races available.

There will be four separate recordings:

• State and County Candidates

• South County (Brookings) Candidates

• Mid County (Gold Beach) Candidates

• North County (Port Orford) Candidates

Questions will be asked by the League moderator and recorded. This is a service to the voters of Curry County to better understand their elected representatives. The League requests that all persons submit candidate questions to Voter Service co-chair Charlie Alexander at lwvalexanderc.com by Oct. 1. All questions are anonymous – they will be written on cards without the submitter’s identity.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization which encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
