Brian Scott Gallery

Brian Scott Gallery, located at 515 Chetco Ave. in Brookings, features Artist of the Month Pete Chasar, who creates acrylic landscapes and abstract paintings representing nature, but reduced to simplified arrangements of color and elemental shapes. The gallery also shows Chasar’s sculptural pieces of geometric shapes and forms. Fog and Fine Art Gallery

Located in Wright’s Custom Framing and Art supply, 810 Chetco Ave. Brookings, the gallery features 36 local artists in a variety of mediums. February’s Featured Artist is David Hernandezwith his heart-warming pet portraits. The Main Gallery features the works of painter Jonathan Gaetke. Jonathan will be giving a demonstration of oil painting techniques Feb. 13, from 1 - 3 p.m. Masks and social distancing will be observed. Manley Art Center and Gallery

Manley Art Center and Gallery is located at 433 Oak St. in Brookings. February’s Artist of the Month is the “modern” quilting group Mod Squad, with a selection of their projects from 2019-2020. Mod Squad continues to study interesting techniques and themes and meets at 10 a.m. on the second Friday each month at the Manley Classroom. The Gallery is open 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with COVID-19 related restrictions and protocols in place.
