Gather your own “flock” of friends and family members to run/walk off some of the extra weight you pack on during Thanksgiving dinner. The 13th annual Gold Beach Rotary TURKEY TROT will take place the Saturday following Thanksgiving, November 26, at 9 a.m.

The flat 5K (3.1 miles) course through the port and on the west side of the Gold Beach airport is manageable for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome to participate in this fun, family-friendly community event. Parents may push strollers, and kids younger than 10 may ride their bikes. Welal-behaved dogs on a leash are also welcome, but be sure to bring poop-bags to clean up your dog’s messes.
