NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Del Norte will conduct a public hearing by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 10:40 A.M. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 981 H Street, Suite 100, Crescent City, CA and online VIA Zoom at media.co.del-norte.ca.us, regarding the below described topic. ***General Plan Update to the County Housing Element. The Housing Element is required to be updated every eight years. The current 6th Cycle update covers the period from 2022 to 2030. The Housing Element provides an assessment of both current and future housing needs, identifies opportunities and constraints on housing production, establishes goals, policies, and programs to meet housing needs and updates County policies, programs and regulations to reflect news state laws. – GPA2201 – Countywide. A copy of the Public Hearing Draft of the Del Norte County 2022-2030 Housing Element Background Report and Policy Document is available for review at the Del Norte Community Development Department located at 981 H Street, Suite 110, Crescent City, CA 95531. Electronic copies of the documents may be found at the following website: https://housingdelnorte.com. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the Del Norte County Planning Division at the address listed above or at (707) 464-7254.
