Bruins boys basketball

To kick off the SAC Holiday Tournament in Salem, the Bruins boys basketball team faced the Western Mennonite Pioneers, resulting in an 84-56 loss for the Bruins. This puts the Bruins boys at 3-8 overall for the season, resting at No. 30 in the OSAA 4A rankings.

The Bruins boys go on to play two more opponents at the SAC Holiday Tournament this weekend. Next week, the Bruins will compete in their final tournament of the year, the FarWest/Skyline Crossover at Hidden Valley before starting league games on Jan. 12.

Bruins girls basketball

The Bruins girls basketball team suffered a close 46-43 defeat in the first round of the SAC Holiday Tournament against the Valley Catholic Crusaders. The Bruins girls are now 4-7 overall for the season at rank No. 22 in the OSAA 4A rankings.

The Bruins girls play two more games at the SAC Holiday Tournament, before returning next week for the FarWest/Skyline Crossover at Hidden Valley.

Panthers boys basketball

The Panther’s boys basketball team began their final tournament of the year with a 75-38 loss to the Kennedy High School Trojans.

The Panthers are now 4-5 overall for the season at rank No. 28 in the OSAA 2A rankings.

The Panthers boys go on to play two more games at the SAC Holiday Tournament before playing the Harrisburg Eagles on Wednesday.

Panthers girls basketball

The Panthers girls basketball team pulled a close 42-40 victory against the Gervais High School Cougars in the first round of the SAC Holiday Tournament. This puts the Panthers girls at No. 8 in the OSAA 2A rankings.

The Panthers go on to play their last two tournament games over the weekend before playing Harrisburg on Wednesday.
