Gold Beach Volleyball

The Panthers (3-7 overall, 3-3 Sunset Conference) picked up back-to-back wins for the first time this seasons, going 3-1 and 3-0 against Bandon and Walport respectively.

Brookings-Harbor Boys Soccer

The No. 1 ranked Bruins (8-0-1 overall, 6-0 Far West League) continued their winning ways with a 4-2 road win against Douglas on Thursday afternoon. Senior captain Izaiha Bruce led the Bruins with a hat trick, while junior Luke Beaman converted a penalty kick. Sophomore Jair Valdovinos and Beaman each tallied an assist in the win.

Brookings-Harbor Girls Soccer

The Bruins (5-3 overall, 5-1) blanked Douglas 5-0 for their third-straight win in league play. Senior Abby Farmer and sophomore Avana Pettus scored two goals each, followed by junior Anna Serna with a penalty kick. Serna led all players with two assists.

The Bruins will next compete on the road against Coquille/Myrtle Point. Girls at 3 p.m., boys 5 p.m.
