He is preceded in death by his parents Hank and Ilene Henry.
Richie worked in the oilfields in California most of his career. He always had a passion for fixing things, so it was no surprise when he started fixing lawn mowers for the community. He loved being able to help people and to keep himself busy.
He loved watching football and was a die-hard 49ers fan. You would often see him sporting his 49ers gear. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, panning for gold, spending time with his family and most of all, making people laugh! He will be remembered by all for his kind heart and his very corny jokes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Richie’s honor online to OHSU Knight Cancer Center OHSU.edu or American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
