Anthony James Griffin was sentenced to an additional 10 days in jail for violating his probation in a private indecency conviction.

Christopher Matthew Jackson, born 1984, of Gold Beach, changed his plea from not guilty to an Alford plea, on a charge of second-degree theft and had his sentenced deferred. An Alford plea is a guilty plea to a criminal charge whereby the defendant case does not admit to the criminal act and asserts innocence. In a separate case, he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, ordered to forfeit his metal knuckles and fined $600.

Daylend James Wagner, born 1993, of Port Orford, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving and attempting to elude an officer.

Kenneth James Losee, born 1966, of Gold Beach, pleaded not guilty to menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct charges.

John Timothy Hester, born 1998, of Brookings, failed to appear in court, was found guilty in absentia of minor in possession or trying to purchase alcohol and fined $435. Additionally, his drivers license will be suspended for one year.

Cathy Della Viscetto, born 1962, of the Cape Ferrelo area, pleaded not guilty to a harassment charge.

Thomas Joel Parra, born 1970, of Henderson, Nevada, was arraigned on charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment.

John Wilson Tulles, born 1953, of Gold Beach, changed his plea to guilty on a second-degree criminal mischief charge. A second charge of first-degree theft was dismissed.

Jennifer Grace Gayman, born 1971, of Brookings, was convicted on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

John Aaron Simpson, born 1972, of Agness, pleaded not guilty to a charge of first-degree criminal mischief.

Dawn Renee Bader, born 1967, of Gold Beach, changed her plea to guilty and was convicted on a DUII charge. Other charges of failing to carry or present a drivers license and reckless driving were dismissed.

Maxwell D. Howeth, born 1997, of Gold Beach, pleaded guilty to a charge of minor attempting to buy a marijuana item and was fined $650. He was also convicted on a charge of a minor in possession of alcohol, and was fined $260.

Kathleen Renee Rivera, born 1963, of Gold Beach, pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree arson and reckless burning.

Bruce Thomas Woods, born 1946, of the Cape Ferrelo area, changed his pleas to guilty on charges of fourth-degree assault and menacing. Charges of pointing a firearm at another and strangulation are to be dismissed at sentencing.

Edward Buck Korang, born 1992, of Port Orford, was arraigned, pleaded guilty and was convicted on a charge of third-degree theft.

Burton William Soto, born 1979, of Lebanon, pleaded not guilty to charges of interfering with making a report and harassment.

Christina Cathleen DeYoung, born 1985, of Harbor, was arraigned on one charge of unlawful manufacture of a marijuana item and two charges of unlawful possession of a marijuana item.

Robert Matthew Zlatek, born 1982, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on a charge of fourth-degree assault.

Anthony E. Betts, born 1957, of Coos Bay, changed his plea to no contest to, and was convicted on a charge of first-degree theft. Charges of second-degree theft and failing to appear in court were dismissed.

Daniel Delmar Farnum, born 1986, of Coos Bay, pleaded not guilty to charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, first-degree aggravated theft and second-degree criminal mischief.

Cynthia Lisa Matthews, born 1998, of Crescent City, changed her plea to guilty and was convicted on a third-degree theft charge.

Jennifer L. Szura, born 1982, of Gold Beach, was arraigned, pleaded guilty and was convicted on a charge of third-degree theft.

Alexander Raymond Resnick, born 1967, of Brookings, pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful manufacture of a marijuana item and endangering the welfare of a minor. Charges of unlawful delivery of a marijuana item and two of endangering the welfare of a minor were dismissed.

Steven Gregory Moorman, born 1961, of Harbor, pleaded guilty and was convicted on charges of resisting arrest and first-degree criminal trespassing. Charges of interfering with a law enforcement officer and first-degree criminal mischief were dismissed.

Zachary Pete Lazzari, born 1984, of Missoula, Montana, pleaded guilty to a DUII charge, had his sentence diverted and was fined $490.
