Wednesday Jan. 10
Unlawful vehicle entry, 10:08 a.m.: Police investigated the report of someone breaking into vehicle in the 400 block of Railroad Street and taking property. It was later reporting friends were playing a trick on them.
Found property 10:30 a.m.: Keys found in Azalea Park were put into safekeeping.
Driving complaint, 1:26 p.m.: An erratic driver cut off another driver and drove in wrong lane on Railroad Street. An officer contacted the driver who admitted to his driving issues and was counseled on driving his behavior.
Dispute, 1:40 p.m.: A verbal dispute between a man and a woman in the 200 block of Cypress Street was settled in a civil manner.
Suspicious conditions, 4:05 p.m.: A reported suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Rowland Lane turned out to be a business vehicle.
Dispute, 4:33 p.m.: A verbal dispute between a woman and a man refusing to leave was reported in the 500 block of Fir Street. The people were warned for disorderly conduct.
Driving complaint, 5:48 p.m.: A citizen reported a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle and driver who was not intoxicated but having difficulties driving at night.
Brookings Police Department made seven traffic stops.

Dispute, 12:21 a.m.: 17600 block of Brown Deer Lane.
Prowler, 5:45 a.m.: 00000 block of Winchuck River Road.
Criminal mischief, 9:36 a.m.: A person was cited and released at U.S. 101 and South Bank Chetco River Road.
Driving while suspended, 9:56 a.m.: Chetco Avenue.
Suicidal subject, 1 p.m.: Brookings.
Suicidal subject, 1:15 p.m.: Brookings.
Burglary, 2:33 p.m.: the crime occurred at an undetermined time at a storage unit at Hemlock and Willow streets.
Suicidal subject, 3:07 p.m.: Brookings
Runaway, 3:27 p.m.: 98400 block of Robin Lane.
Suicidal subject, 5:53 p.m.: Brooings.
Fire, 6:05 p.m.: The Curry County Sheriff’s Department responded to east side of Highway 101 near Benham Lane to investigate the report of fire that was found to be a sodium lamp.
Dispute, 6:28 p.m.: 97800 block of Court Street.
Suicidal subject, 6:54 p.m.: Brookings.
Suspicious condition, 7:01 p.m.: Chetco Avenue and Center Street.
Brookings Police made six traffic stops, resulting in one citation.
