Darrin Alrick Kang, born 1963, of Sherwood, was convicted on one charge of attempting to flee an officer, interfering with an officer and reckless endangering another person. He was sentenced to 18 months’ probation, 10 days in jail, a one-year license suspension and fined $1,000 on the first charge; two years’ probation, 25 days in jail consecutive to those in the other charges and fined $700 in the second; and two years’ probation, 25 days in jail and fined $750 in the third. Two charges of attempting to commit a felony, recklessly endangering another person and menacing, and one each of attempting to elude an officer, possession of methamphetamine, DUII and reckless driving were dismissed. In a second case, two charges of refusing to take a test for intoxicants were dismissed, as were charges of careless driving and failing to drive in one lane of traffic.

Scott Michael Faas, born 1964, of Klamath, changed his plea to guilty in a DUII case.

Ryan Morgan Christopher, born 1998, of Gold Beach, was convicted on a charge of possession of hydrocodone and third-degree theft, and was sentenced to two years’ probation, 10 days in jail, a six-month license suspension and fined $600 in the first charge and two years’ probation and a $500 fine in the second.

Cynthia Lisa Matthews, born 1981, of Everett, Washington, changed her plea to guilty on a DUII charge; she was sentenced to two years’ probation, a three-year license suspension, 48 hours in jail, ordered to enroll in an alcohol treatment program and fined $1,355. Two tickets, for failing to drive in one lane of traffic and having an open container of alcohol in the car, were dismissed.

Opal Mae Myers, born 1998, of Port Orford, pleaded not guilty to two charges of hindering prosecution.

Keenan Douglas Putansu Sr., born 1962, of Harbor, pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree robbery, first-degree theft, unlawful use of a weapon and two charges of menacing.

Camille Harper, born 1948, of Port Orford, changed her plea to guilty to a DUII charge and had her sentenced of one year probation and $490 fine diverted. A reckless driving charge was dismissed.

Karen Inez Susie Brown, born 1953, of Brookings, was arraigned on one charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Paul Griz Brown, born 1966, of Winchuck River, was arraigned on charges of failing to perform the duties of a driver resulting in property damage and second-degree criminal mischief and released.

Robert Paul McWilliams, born 1971, of Brookings, was arraigned on a charge of third-degree theft and released.

Vincent Paul Cutri, born 1954, of Bandon, was arraigned on charges of DUII and reckless driving and released.

Bruce Robert Nielsen, born 1966, of Klamath Falls, was arraigned on a DUII charge.

Patricia Ann Zlamal, born 1945, of Brookings, was arraigned on charges of DUII and reckless driving and released.

Justin James Truppner, born 1984, of Newport, pleaded guilty to a charge of giving false information to an officer and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation, seven days in jail and fined $600. A citation for failing to present his license was dismissed.

George Richard Lane, born 1944, of Gold Beach, was arraigned on a reckless driving charge and released.

Samuel Paul Rodriguez, born 1990, of Overland Park, Kansas, pleaded not guilty to second-degree criminal trespassing and providing false information to an officer for a citation. In a second case, he pleaded not guilty to DUII.

Anthony Michael Moore, born 1998, of Port Orford, changed his plea to guilty on a harassment charge and was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and fined $400. A charge of fourth-degree assault was dismissed.

Irene Jewell Watkins, born 1986, of Brookings, changed her plea to guilty on a charge of providing false information to an officer, and was sentenced to 24 months’ probation and fined $500. A second charge of interfering with an officer was dismissed.

James Franklin Mickelson, born 1988, of Port Orford, had his probation revoked and is subject to 18 months’ probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $4,180 restitution. He was also convicted on a first-degree theft charge that was originally deferred.

Evaristo Gonzalez Lopez, born 1962, of Port Orford, was convicted on DUII charges and driving with a suspended license. On the first charge, he was sentenced to eight months in jail, a lifetime suspension of his driver license, and fined $3,755. On the second charge, he was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, 30 days in jail, ordered to enroll in a treatment program and fined $850. In a second case, he was convicted of refusing to take an intoxicant test and fined $650 and $110 for not using his seat belt.

Carrie Mae Starkweather, born 1987, of Gold Beach, was convicted on a charge of possession of a Schedule 1 substance and sentenced to 24 months’ probation, a suspended 30-days in jail, ordered to enroll in a substance abuse treatment program and fined $2,600.

Michael Douglas Bratton, born 1982, of Harbor, was arraigned on and pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of methamphetamine, second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree failure to appear in court. In a second case, he pleaded not guilty to a charge of second-degree criminal mischief.

Joshua Adam Carmack, born 1984, of Port Orford, was arraigned on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass.

Jason Kyle Carder, born 1982, of Gold Beach, was arraigned and pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of methamphetamine, recklessly endangering another person and offensive littering and released.

Jamie Diana Dahack, born 1982, of Gold Beach, pleaded not guilty of two charges of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

Kelly Dale Hopkins, born 1979, of Brookings, changed his plea to guilty on one count of third-degree sexual abuse charges. He has pleaded not guilty to three other of the same charge. In a second case, he also changed his plea to guilty on a second-degree theft charge.

Anthony Dwight Haines, born 1996, of Brookings, was arraigned on charges of second-degree online corruption of a child, third-degree rape and third-degree sexual abuse.

Christopher Brian Wilburn, born 1989, of the Gardner Ridge area, was arraigned on charges of second-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse.
