After narrowly losing a competitive game one, the Brookings-Harbor High School volleyball team dropped games two and three as they were swept by the Siuslaw Vikings Tuesday night with scores of 24-26, 14-25 and 16-25.

"We were right in there in game one," Coach Lori Cooper said. "We came from behind to tie the game, but we just lost it."

With the loss, the Bruins fall to 1-5 in league play and have suffered three straight losses.

"We did better than our last time out," Cooper said. "But we still have a long ways to go."

Stephanie Kerr had a good night up front for the Bruins with 11 kills and eight blocks.

Dani Olson had six kills and two blocks for the Bruins while Sarah Pate and Taylor Keys had three and two kills, respectively.

Danielle Ambrose led the Bruins with eight assists while Molly Vance contributed six assists.

The next game for the Bruins will be on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Douglas at 5 and 6:30p.m.
