Theft 7:24 a.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Warrant Service, 10:10 a.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Suspicious conditions, 10:13 a.m.: Tanbark Circle. 

Suspicious conditions, 11:19 a.m.: 800 block of Elk Drive. 

Suspicious conditions, 12:44 p.m.: Hanscam Lane. 

Theft, 4:53 p.m.: 1100  block of Chetco Avenue. 

Storm problem, 6:01 p.m.: 900 block of Timberline Drive. 

Assault, 6:54 p.m.: 800 block of Easy Street. 

Theft, 7:01 p.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Criminal mischief, 7:48 p.m.: 200 block of Cove Road. 

Criminal mischief, 8:18 p.m.: 16200 block of Highway 101. 

Disorderly conduct, 10:08 p.m.: 500 block of Pine Street. 


Brookings police made 20  traffic stops resulting in many warnings and two citations.  

Saturday, Feb. 22

Criminal mischief, 10:29 a.m.: 600 block of Fifth Street. 

Hit and run, 1:02 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Rescue operation 3:27 p.m.: Tamba Bar on the Chetco River. 

Suspicious conditions, 5:20 p.m.: 1000 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:25 p.m.: 1200 block of Rowland Lane. 


Brookings police made 16 traffic stops resulting in two citations. 

Sunday, Feb. 23 

Suspicious conditions, 9:07 p.m.: Multiple juveniles were warned for discarding trash in the area of Bud Cross Park. They all returned to pick up the items. 

Loud noise, 9:49 p.m.: All subjects involved in a loud party in the 1100 block of Rowland Lane were warned of the noise ordinance. 


Brookings police made 10 traffic stops resulting in two citations. 

Monday, Feb. 24 

Theft of services, 1 p.m.: A citizen reported someone emptied a trash bin in the 200 block of Cypress Street and then filled it with their own belongings. 

Suspicious conditions, 3:57 p.m.: The report of a possible plane crash in the ocean was unfounded.

Driving while suspended, 4:14 p.m.: A man was cited for driving while suspended in the 300 block of Fifth Street. 

Found property, 5:16 p.m.: An Oregon State Police trooper recovered keys found in front of a business in the 500 block of Chetco Avenue and turned them in to the Brookings Police Department.
