Jeffrey William “Jeff” Wallace

June 23, 1979-Jan. 18, 2014

Jeffrey William Wallace, 34, was born June 23, 1979, and died suddenly on Jan. 18, 2014, due to complications from severe dental disease.

Jeff was tenderhearted, loving, generous, caring, hard-working, creative and extremely devoted to his family. He studied the Bible weekly with his parents and believed in God’s promise to rid mankind from suffering when the earth is made into a paradise.

Jeff spoke fondly of his childhood days when he attended Merryhill Country School in Carmichael, Calif. As an adult he enjoyed working the most for the Oregon and California State Departments of Parks and Recreation as a Ranger Assistant. He also enjoyed working in various outdoor jobs.

Jeff loved the beauty of nature and all wildlife. He loved camping, hiking, and exploring the beaches and rivers of the Southern Oregon Coast. Most often he was accompanied by his beloved dog Ziggy.

Jeff was very good at writing songs and music. He was very talented at playing both the guitar and piano and had a great singing voice.

Jeff will be sorely missed by his parents Darrell and Ruth Mollica, Jim Wallace; grandmother Jo Ann Bangs; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside memorial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at the W.J. Ward Memorial Cemetery, 1035 Seventh Street in Brookings. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Redwood Memorial Chapel is assisting the family. Condolences may be expressed online at www.redwoodmemorial.net.
