Watercolor classes begin

After-school watercolor classes, for children ages 7 and older and all adults who wish to learn more about beginning watercolor painting, will begin on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 8 and 9.

Classes will continue every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. until the week before Christmas. Students may attend either day and will accommodate students who get out of school at 3:10, said instructor Janeen Vick.

All supplies are provided during class time. Vick will instruct students on what to purchase so they can continue their work at home.  This helps students deal with the process of painting at their leisure and not just in class, she said.

Classes will be at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies, 810 Chetco Ave., Brookings. The cost is $3 per hour or $6 per day.
