Stuff the Bus fundraising campaign begins Monday

It’s time to Stuff the Bus! The annual fundraising campaign organized by local businesses to provide school supplies to children who attend Brookings-Harbor schools is in full swing next week, with drop-offs at several locations. 

The popular annual event provides children with needed school supplies, from pencils to paper, erasers to markers. School supply lists are available at KURY953.com, the buses and at stores that sell school supplies. 

Monday, Aug. 5. 

Rogue Credit Union, Harbor branch, 16147 Highway 101 S. 

Rogue Credit Union, Brookings branch, 729 Chetco Ave. Rogue Credit Union will sponsor and provide volunteers at both locations.

Tuesday, Aug. 6

Dollar Tree, 16261, Highway 101 S.

Shop Smart, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Members of the Chetco Shrine Club will volunteer at both locations.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

Fred Meyer, 325 Fifth St.; Brookings-Harbor Lions Club members will volunteer. 

Thursday, Aug. 8

Chetco Pharmacy, 890 Chetco Ave., 

McDonald’s, 815 Chetco Ave.; Vietnam Veterans of America members will volunteer at both locations.

Friday, Aug. 9

Fred Meyer. Members of the Marine Corps League will volunteer.
