Tuesday, Nov. 20 

Assist public, 12:19 a.m.: Brookings Fire department assisted a citizen with her smoke alarm in the 900 block of Hidden Court. 

Hazard, 12:56 a.m.: Loose propane tanks at Portside RV Park were secured by Harbor Fire Department. One resident was evacuated due to flooding in the 16200 block of Lower Harbor Road. 

Power outage, 1:02 a.m.: Traffic lights were out at North Bank Chetco River Road, Oregon Department of Transportation was advised. 

Rescue operation, 4:27 a.m.: A resident in the 98600 block of North Bank Chetco River Road was concerned about his residence flooding. 

Hazard, 5:51 a.m.: Multiple calls on storm-related problems and activities were received. 

Water problem, 6:29 a.m.: Multiple 911 calls related to storm damage on North Bank Chetco River Road. 

Water problem, 6:41 a.m.: A sinkhole was reported at Ransom and Fern avenues. 

Assist motorist, 9:27 a.m.: Sheriff, Harbor Fire, and IPH Security assisted a driver whose vehicle was stuck in water on South Bank Chetco River Road under the Chetco River bridge.

Hazard, 10:14 a.m.: Part of a hillside slid in the 16900 block of Tule Road and the caller was looking for assistance with sandbags. 

Water problem, 10:19 a.m.: Public works responded to clear an overflowing culvert in the 16700 block of Marine Drive. 

Animal complaint, 1:54 p.m.: A llama was loose at intersection of Taylor Creek and Duley Creek roads. 

Custodial interference, 2:17 p.m.: A parent was assisted with custodial interference issue in the Brookings Police Department lobby. 

Warrant service, 3:21 p.m.: An man on Matot Street was arrested on a valid Curry County Circuit Court warrant and transported to Curry County Jail in Gold Beach. 

Dispute, 5:35 p.m.: The report of a verbal dispute was  transferred to the Curry County Sheriff’s Office. 

Driving complaint, 7:51 p.m.: The report of a possible drunk driver was transferred to California Highway Patrol. 

Tree down, 9:51 p.m.: A tree down was reported about 4 miles up Winchuck River Road.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

Hazard, 6:02 a.m.: A large mud slide three miles up South Bank Chetco River Road covered both lanes.

Hazard, 6:58 a.m.: Gardner Ridge Road.

Non-injury traffic crash, 10:29 a.m.: A collision blocked the middle lanes of Chetco Avenue in the 1000 block.

Identity theft, 11:54 a.m.: 1200 block of Collis Lane.

Burglary, 1:43 p.m.: 15100 block of Highway 101.

Threats, 2:24 p.m.: 400 block of Chetco Avenue.

Found property, 2:38 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street.

Theft, 3:07 p.m.: A business reported a shoplifter in the 600 block of Railroad Street.

Fire, 5:31 p.m.: Harbor Fire Department extinguished a transient campfire in the 16300 block of Lower Harbor Road.

Non-injury traffic crash, 6:22 p.m.: A hit and run was reported at Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center.

Traffic stop, 8:11 p.m.: A passenger in a vehicle pulled over for no tail lights in the 400 block of Chetco Avenue was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Thursday, Nov. 22

Fight, 12:01 a.m.: A domestic dispute was reported in the 97800 block of South Bank Chetco River Road.

Found property, 12:27 a.m.: Property found in an empty lot on Spruce Street.

DUII, 12:37 a.m.: Police received information that a drunken motorist left his residence on Sherwood Lane. A Brookings police officer spotted the vehicle inside the city limit and arrested the driver. 

Fight, 1:41 a.m.: A dispute was reported in the 17200 block of Mountain Drive.

Fight, 2:45 a.m.: An intoxicated person in the 800 block of Pioneer Road was warned for harassment, menacing and disorderly conduct.

Animal complaint, 3:05 a.m.: A chocolate lab and a white pitbull along with two tan dogs were seen running in the Oak Street area. The dogs have been reported on numerous occasions.

Fight, 7:49 a.m.: 800 block of Pioneer Road.

Suspicious conditions, 1:25 p.m.: 700 block of Spruce Street.

Hazard, 2:48 p.m.: A manhole cover that was removed at Railroad and Center streets was replaced by a police officer.

Water problem, 3:48 p.m.: 98100 block of Tuttle Lane.

Attempt to locate, 4:24 p.m.: Runaway juveniles were found in Stout Park.

Shots fired, 6:32 p.m.: A resident in the 500 block of Spruce Street reported seeing a suspicious man shortly after hearing shots fired. Another caller reported illegal fireworks two blocks away on Mulberry Street.
