Friday,   Nov. 16 

Fight, 1:04 a.m.: Hillside Drive and Pacific Avenue. 

Animal complaint, 5:44 a.m. A German shepherd with black pup were running at large in and out of traffic. The dogs ran behind Dairy Queen and were not found. 

Suspicious conditions, 7:03 a.m.: 97900 block of Shopping Center Avenue. 

Driving complaint, 11:50 a.m.: A caller reported a possible intoxicated river was northbound from Lucky 7 Casino. Information passed to Del Norte Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, and Oregon State Police. 

Fight, 12:53 p.m.: 98100 block of Tuttle Lane. 

Child abuse, 3:22 p.m.: 16400 block of Lower Harbor Road. 

Suspicious conditions, 3:28 p.m.: A suspicious vehicle occupied by two males driving by an house in the 800 block of Chetco Point Terrace. 

Disorderly conduct, 5:50 p.m.: Two intoxicated people in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue refused to leave private property when asked. One of the suspects was arrested for disorderly conduct. 

Animal complaint, 6:29 p.m.: A caller reporting two dogs at large that were acting aggressively toward caller in the 100 block of Schooner Bay Drive. 

Shots fired, 8:25 p.m.: A  call reporting possible shots fired may have been  fireworks coming from the jetty area. 

Animal complaint, 11:08 p.m.: A loose German shepherd and black puppy were running in the road again creating a traffic hazard around Curry Coastal Pilot and Dairy Queen area. The same dogs have been spotted on multiple occasions in the last several days, nearly getting hit by several motorists. Officers and bystanders have been unsuccessful at catching them. 

Saturday, Nov. 17 

Burglary, 4:31 a.m.: Locks were taken off a storage unit in the 200 block of Wharf Street; however, it didn’t appear that anything was taken. 

Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 9:04 a.m.: A locked vehicle was stolen from a driveway in the 900 block of Brooke Lane. The vehicle was recovered by California Highway Patorl later in the day. 

Fire, 11:18 a.m.: Brookings Fire Department responded to 100 block of Indian Court. 

Criminal trespass, 11:57 a.m.: A woman was warned for criminal trespass when it was discovered she was keeping her property in the garage of a vacant residence in the 500 block of Pine Street. 

Shots fired, 7:59 p.m.: Two  callers reported shots were fired or loud explosions in Harbor. Someone, possibly on Sporthaven Beach, was setting off fireworks. 

Sunday, Nov. 18 

Lost property, 8:21 a.m.: 700 block of Chetco Avenue. 

Fire, 8:43 a.m.: Brookings Fire Department responded to 01100 block of Winchuck River Road. 

Suspicious conditions, 9:28 a.m.: 500 block of Pine Street. 

Animal complaint, 11:12 a.m.: A dog found in the 700 block of Elk Drive was transported to Curry County Animal Shelter in Gold Beach. 

Suspicious conditions, 2:49 p.m.: A citizen reported lights on in the school bus barn. An employee was working on buses. 

Juvenile problem, 3:45 p.m.: A juvenile and parents in the 17000 block of Parkview Drive had a disagreement over the student’s ineligibility to play sports. An officer spoke to the parties involved. 

Monday, Nov. 19

Criminal mischief, 7:58 a.m.: 800 block of Limbaugh Way. 

Lost property, 10:09 a.m.: 600 block of Pacific Avenue. 

Intoxicated subject, 10:53 a.m.: Near Brookings-Harbor High School. 

Tree down, 11:15 a.m.: Duley Creek Road. 

Hazard, 11:20 a.m.: 96000 block of Oceanside Drive. 

Criminal mischief, 12:20 p.m.: 300 block of Oxford Street. 

Fight, 5:46 p.m.:  A verbal dispute was reported in the 16100 block of Gustafson Lane. 

Hazard, 5:55 a.m.: A small mud slide was reported on North Bank Chetco River Road near the new bridge.    

Hazard, 6:16 p.m.: A city unit cleared a hazard at Highway 101 and Pacific Avenue. 

Suspicious conditions, 6:38 p.m.: A male subject with white shirt and tan shorts was sitting on the guardrail on the west side of the highway at the bottom of Parkview Drive. The caller requested an officer check him out. 

Hazard, 6:42 p.m.: A large tree was blocking the northbound lane of  Highway 101 near Arch Rock. 

Hazard, 6:42 p.m.: Citizens removed a large tree that had fallen 2 miles up Winchuck River Road. 

Hazard, 6:45 p.m.:  Roadway starting to flood at  Highway 101 and Frontage Road. 

Hazard, 7:42 p.m.: Brookings area. 

Hazard, 10:24 p.m.: Buena Vista Loop. 

Dispute, 10:29 p.m.: Officers assisted residents with a child custody issue that was resolved civilly in the 800 block of Pioneer Road. 

Hazard, 10:36 a.m.: A gravel slide was reported at Highway 101 and Sundown Drive.
