Musicians Lon Goddard and Aura Wright will present a special 2-hour show from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Curry Public Library, 94341 Third St., Gold Beach.

Admission is free.

Brookings residents Goddard and Wright, who have been an acoustic musical duo for nearly a decade, have a repertoire that includes folk, pop, rock, country, jazz and even a splash of reggae, all blended into vocal and guitar arrangements  designed for listening and on occasion, to produce the involuntary rhythmic gyrations known as dancing, the duo said.

They have original songs as well as material from artists such as Bert Jansch; Don Williams; Bob Dylan; Paul McCartney; Neil Diamond; Booker T & The MG’s; Peter, Paul & Mary; Donovan and more, spliced by Goddard’s stories from the early days of the music business and the duo’s own brand of humor.

“This is the first and last leg of our ‘Read All About It’ tour,” Goddard said. “We have studied very hard for this appearance and hope we will pass the test on Thursday,” to which Wright adds, “I couldn’t fail to disagree with him more.”
