Charles H. Parmenter Charles H. Parmenter, a longtime resident of the Brookings-Harbor area, died Oct. 9, 2012. He was 88. A service will be held at 5 p.m. today (Oct. 20) at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave., in Brookings. Contact Doug Parmenter, 2211 Jasper, OR 97438 for bequest information.
