Thursday, Jan. 12

•Pelican Bay Arts Association meets at Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings. The meeting begins at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch. A demonstration by Mary Heflin will be at 12:30 p.m. on “Setting the Stage to Create.” For information, call 541-469-1807.

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Pinocchio” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Performances will also be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 and the following weekend. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youth younger than 18. •Del Norte High School Dance presents its winter dance concert – “Sinful Indulgence” – at 7 p.m. at Crescent Elk Auditorium, 994 G St., Crescent City. The concert will feature dances of opposition, relationships, the seven deadly sins, dreams and the circus. Tickets are available at the door for $8 general admission, $5 for students and seniors, and children 12 and younger are free. A second performance will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14.
