Julio Cesar Zebadua, 36, Smith River, on Feb. 3 was acquitted of first-degree sexual abuse.

Steven Carl Prince, 41, Brookings, on Feb. 4 was convicted of failure to report as a sex offender and false swearing. On Feb. 8 he was sentenced to 24 months’ probation and to pay $202 for false swearing.

Mitchell Wesley Dye, 47, Myrtle Creek, failed to appear Feb. 4 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Robert Lee Sanchez, 41, Crescent City, failed to appear Feb. 4 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Eric Brent Amason, 27, Port Orford, was placed on a one-year diversion Feb. 9 for driving under the influence of intoxicant and was ordered to pay $458.

Anthony Jose Babb, 18, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $150.

Marcus Jack Capps, 19, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $300.

Will James Goble, 19, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $300.

Sonia Alanna Gonzalez, 19, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $150.

Rocky Ray McAnelly, 37, Brookings, on Feb. 7 was placed on a one-year diversion for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana and was ordered to pay $333.

Joshua Scott Owens, 18, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $150.

Dwight Sims, 50 Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sentencing was set for March 2.

Carl Joshua South, 20, Camp Pendleton, Calif., was convicted Feb. 7 of animal neglect. He was ordered to pay $1,000.

Mariah L. Wilkins, 19, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 7 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $300.

Robert John Kaiser, 62, Harbor, was convicted Feb.7 of pointing a firearm at another, menacing and recklessly endangering another. For pointing a firearm, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $402. For menacing, he was sentenced to 30 days, to be served concurrently, 24 months’ probation and to pay $602. For endangering, he was sentenced to 24 months’ probation and to pay $602.

Arthur Lee Ferguson, 63, Smith River, was convicted Feb. 8 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Sentencing was set for Feb. 14.

Cassie Leighann Harper, 21, Brookings, on Feb. 8 had a charge of theft dismissed, was given a conditional discharge for possession of a controlled substance and was convicted of hindering prosecution. For hindering, she was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $385.

Brett Allen Nelson, 46, Hollywood, Calif., was convicted of probation violation on convictions for burglary and criminal mischief. His probations were revoked and he was sentenced to 30 days on each. A probation for assault was also terminated.

Laurie Ann Moore, 65, Brookings, on Feb. 9 was convicted of theft. She was placed on 12 months’ probation and ordered to pay $635 plus $100 restitution.

Michael Ray Spliethof, 19, Brookings, was convicted Feb. 9 of probation violation. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and his probation was continued.

Imelda Herrera Ramirez, 30, Brookings, on Feb. 10 had two charges of theft dismissed.

Francis Warren Hills, 51, Brookings, on Feb. 10 was convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants with sentencing set for Feb. 16.

William Gene Hathorn, 49, was convicted Feb. 10 of criminal trespass and was sentenced to two days in jail.

Dwight Leroy Wright, 53, Harbor was placed on a one-year diversion Feb. 10 for driving under the influence of intoxicants and was ordered to pay $458.

Jared Wesley Garlock, 27, Salem, failed to appear Feb. 11 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Ryan S.G. Gehrke, 28, Port Orford, was convicted Feb. 11 of probation violation. He was given a 180-day suspended sentence and his probation was continued.
