Christopher Michael Cole, 37, McKinleyville, was convicted Jan. 7 of felony possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of intoxicants and two counts of refusal to take an intoxicant test. For marijuana possession, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and ordered to pay $785. For the refusal to take tests, he was ordered to pay $2,000. Sentencing for the DUII is set for Jan. 20.

Travis Jason Grice, 31, Eugene, was sentenced Jan. 10 for assault on his revoked deferred sentence. He was sentenced to 160 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and ordered to pay $782.

Kelly Dale Hopkins, 31, Brookings, on Jan. 10 was placed on a one-year diversion for possession of marijuana. He was ordered to pay $333.

Joshua Adam Lee, 21, Harbor, was convicted by default Jan. 10 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and was ordered to pay $1,045.

Mario Cesar Mignon, 36, Brookings, was placed on a one-year diversion on Jan. 10 for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was ordered to pay $458.

Andrew James Stone, 18, Hayden, Idaho, was convicted by default Jan. 10 of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and was ordered to pay $1,045.

Enrique Salazar, 18, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 10 of minor possessing alcohol and was ordered to pay $250.

Thomas Eugene Goodman, 55, Coos Bay, was convicted Jan. 10 of driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended. Sentencing was set for later.

Samuel Allen Gates, 35, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 10 of probation violation. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Guy Irvin Hinze, 46, Brookings, failed to appear Jan. 11 for a show cause hearing. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Andrea Lee McGrath, 20, Grants Pass, was convicted Jan. 11 of failure to appear on a criminal citation. She was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, 36 months’ probation and to pay $167.

Steven Levon Meredith, 23, Butte Falls, was sentenced Jan. 11 on his conviction for felony possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to five days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $785.

Killian Curtis Kemp, 26, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 12 of disorderly conduct and harassment. For disorderly, he was sentenced to five days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $525, plus $25 restitution. For harassment, he was sentenced to seven days in jail, to be served concurrently, 18 months’ probation and to pay $485.

Caril Leroy Massengill, 58, Port Orford, was placed on a one-year probation Jan. 12 for driving under the influence of intoxicants and was ordered to pay $458. He was convicted of reckless driving and sentenced to 18 months’ probation and to pay $685.

Bryan Reiland, 24, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 12 of a wildlife law violation. He was sentenced to 18 months’ probation and ordered to pay $525. His hunting license was suspended for three years and his rifle was forfeited.

Christian Thomas Aiello, 58, Port Orford, was convicted Jan. 13 of failure to file crab log books and was ordered to pay $250.

David Carl Bowdish Jr., was sentenced Jan. 13 for his convictions for escape and the revocation of his conditional discharge for possession of methamphetamine. For escape, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, three years’ probation and to pay $1,035. For possession, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, to be served consecutively, 18 months’ probation and to pay $1,335.

Cory Donald Brigham, 33, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 13 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $2,135.

Darrell Ray Cobb, 51, Port Orford, was convicted Jan. 13 of failure to file crab log books and was ordered to pay $250.

Joseph Gilbert Gray, 20, Brookings, was sentenced Jan. 13 on his convictions for burglary and unauthorized use of a vehicle. For burglary, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $785. For unauthorized use, he was sentenced to 10 days, to be served concurrently, two years’ probation and to pay $785. He is to pay restitution jointly with co-defendants, with amounts to be determined.

Maria Rocio Rangel, 31, Gold Beach, was convicted by default Jan. 13 of criminal trespass and was ordered to pay $545.

Jodi Ann Torrance, 40, Brookings, was placed on a diversion Jan. 13 for driving under the influence of intoxicants and was ordered to pay $458. She was also convicted of tampering with drug evidence and given a conditional discharge. She was ordered to serve two days in jail, 60 hours’ community service, 18 months’ probation and to pay $1,535.

Jacob Thomas Badura, 27, Fort Dick, was sentenced Jan. 14 for his conviction Dec. 14 for theft. He was ordered to pay $785.

Stephanie Joann Huff, 34, Eugene, failed to appear Jan. 14 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Cherwana Camille Newell, 20, Crescent City, was sentenced Jan. 14 on her Dec. 1 convictions for theft and probation violation. For the theft conviction, she was sentenced to 40 days in jail, all suspended, 40 hours of community service and to pay $885 plus $152.97 restitution. Her probation was continued and extended one year.

Rachel Estelle Wilson-McCullough, 40, Harbor, was convicted Jan. 14 of probation violation. Her probation was extended one year and she was sentenced to 15 days in jail.
