Christobal Lozano, 49, Port Orford, was convicted Sept. 8 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to five days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $2,060.

Brenden VanBuren, 35, Gold Beach, was convicted Sept. 8 of disorderly conduct and violation of two probations. He was sentenced to five days in jail on the DUII, 18 months’ probation and to pay $555. Both probations were continued and he was sentenced to five days in jail on one and 15 on the other, with all jail time consecutive.

Shawn Patrick Woodall, 45, Brookings, failed to appear Sept. 8 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

David J. Duffy, 66, Gold Beach, on Sept. 8 was convicted of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,435.

Patrick Jewel Flanary, 19, Brookings, failed to appear Sept. 9 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Drew Louis Mason, 33, Brookings, was convicted Sept. 9 of theft. Sentencing was set for Sept. 13.

Stephen Michael Palinkas, 54, Gold Beach, was convicted Sept. 9 of criminal trespass and harassment. On the trespass, he was sentenced to 60 days in jail, all suspended, 24 months’ probation and to pay $715. He was given a 12-month deferred sentence for harassment and ordered to pay $67 plus $150 compensatory fine to the Gold Beach Police Department.

Jack Anthony Althof, 43, was convicted Sept. 10 of theft and violation of two probations. For theft, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail and to pay $135 plus $114.99 restitution. Both probations were revoked and he was ordered to serve 30 days on the first and 180 on the second, with all jail time to be consecutive.

Michael Gordon Olsen, 49, Brookings, failed to appear Sept. 10 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Lisa Marie Orozco, 40, Brookings, on Sept. 10 had her 18-month deferred sentence for two counts of first-degree aggravated theft revoked. She is to return to court Sept. 15.

Monte Singleton, 61, Upland, Calif., was convicted Sept. 10 of interfering with an emergency technician. He was given a six-month deferred sentence and ordered to pay $67 plus $150 compensatory fine to the Brookings Police Department and $150 compensatory fine to Cal-Ore Life Flight.
