Friday, July 23

1:36 p.m.: The crew of an 18 foot pleasure craft with California registration number 5741NE contacted the U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River requesting assistance. A 25-foot safe boat was dispatched and towed the disabled vessel to the Port of Brookings Harbor.

 

Saturday, July 24

11:56 a.m.: The crew of the pleasure craft Lady Kay Jean called the U.S. Coast Guard Station Chetco River via VHF radio requesting assistance as the boat as dead in the water with engine trouble north of Bird Island.  A Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel was dispatched and towed the vessel back to the Port of Brookings Harbor.

 

Friday, July 30

3:42 p.m.: The crew of a 14-foot pleasure craft with Oregon registration number 224WV called by telephone to report the boat was dead in the water and requested assistance. A 47-foot motor lifeboat was dispatched and towed the vessel to the Port of Brookings Harbor.

 

Sunday, Aug. 1

11:10 a.m.: The crew of the 23 foot pleasure craft Lady L contacted the U.S. Coast Guard Chetco River Station by telephone requesting assistance as the boat was dead in the water.  A 47-foot motor lifeboat was dispatched and towed the vessel to the Port of Brookings Harbor.
