Bobby Douglas Landers, 19, Brookings, on July 16 had charges of menacing and third-degree theft dismissed.

Javier Gonzales Torres, 24, Harbor, was convicted July 16 of assault and harassment. For the assault, he was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 90 suspended, 36 months’ probation, and to pay $2,635, to undergo alcohol and sex offender evaluation and possible treatment, and no contact with the victim or college she will be attending. For harassment, he was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 90 suspended, 36 months’ probation and to pay $702 plus $1,000 compensatory fine to the victim. Jail sentences are to be served concurrently.

Charles McIntrye Sage, 59, Harbor, on July 16 had his diversion revoked and was sentenced for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,500.

Perry Alonzo Ashdown, 20, Port Orford, failed to appear July 19 for arraignment on a charge of driving while suspended. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Glen Elvin Brady, 19, Harbor, was convicted July 19 by default of being a minor with alcohol and was ordered to pay $295.

Kyle W. Crandell, 19, Gold Hill, was convicted by default July 19 of being a minor with alcohol and was ordered to pay $295.

Nina Beth Gienger, 45, Brookings, failed to appear July 19 on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Nancy Alice Erb, 53, Brookings, was sentenced July 19 on her convictions for pointing a firearm at another and menacing. For the firearm conviction, she was sentenced to 100 hours of community service, 36 months' probation and to pay $885. For menacing, she was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 36 months' probation and to pay $785.

Charlene Kay Hixon, 52, Brookings, failed to appear July 21 for arraignment on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended license and refusing an intoxicant test. A warrant was issued for her arrest on the DUII and she was convicted by default on the license and intoxicant test and ordered to pay $287 and $750.

James Luke Abbott, 47, failed to appear July 20 for trial on a criminal mischief charge. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Shirley Jean Borrego, 71, Crescent City, Calif., was convicted July 20 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, placed on 24 months’ probation and ordered to pay $1,635.

Eric Michael Borchman, 24, Port Orford was convicted July 21 of probation violation and theft. Sentencing was set for Aug. 31.

Robert Mailand Howard, 79, Brookings, on July 20 had charges of encouraging child sex abuse dismissed.

Justin Serus Amirhosseini, 24, Brookings, was convicted July 1 of theft. He was sentenced July 23 to 10 days in jail, 36 months’ probation and to pay $945 plus $494.94 restitution and $500 compensatory fine.

Justin James Miles, 36, Crescent City, Calif., on July 21 was convicted of probation violation. His probation was continued.

Casey Robert Norman, 19, Harbor, was convicted July 21 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

Thomas Michael Pearce, 19, Crescent City, Calif., was convicted July 21 of assault and probation violation. For assault, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,702 and restitution to be determined in 90 days. For probation violation, he was sentenced to 10 days in jail, to be served consecutively.

Renee Yvonne Schumacher, 46, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 21 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

Billy Eugene Dill, 52, Brookings, on July 22 was convicted of probation violation. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail.

Richard Groh, 65, Chicago, was convicted July 22 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $455.

Bambi Gail Kolias, 45, Grants Pass, was convicted July 21 of manufacturing marijuana. She was sentenced to 20 days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,095.

Samantha Elizabeth Ray, 20, Brookings, was convicted July 21 of identity theft and failure to appear. For the ID theft, she was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $785. For the FTA, she was sentenced to 60 days in jail, to be served consecutively, 24 months’ probation, and ordered to pay $222.

Billy Joe Schrader, 31, Sonora, Calif., was convicted July 22 of two counts of first-degree burglary. Sentencing was set for Aug. 5

Francis Evelyn Schriver, 22, Harbor, was convicted July 22 of disorderly conduct. She was given a 24 month deferred sentence and ordered to pay $602.

Danelle Zosel-Sanderson, 36, Smith River, Calif., failed to appear July 22 for a hearing on further proceedings. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
