Marco Antonio Haro-Diaz, 26, Las Vegas, Nev., was convicted April 8 of attempted unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was placed on probation for 24 months and ordered to pay $2,160 plus restitution to be determined within 90 days.

James Lewis Johnson III, 25, Brookings, was convicted April 8 of driving under the influence of intoxicants and assault. He was placed on a one-year diversion and ordered to pay $458 for the DUII. Sentencing for the assault was scheduled for May 11.

Paul Axel Hagstrom, 50, Vancouver, Wash., was convicted Aug. 8 of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was ordered to serve 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,635.

David Emerson Thomas, 21, Gold Beach, was convicted April 8 of furnishing liquor to a minor. He was placed on 20 hours of community service, 24 months’ probation and to pay $485 plus restitution of $42.98.
