Non-injury accident, 12:45 p.m.: Fifth and Railroad streets. Fire, 6:36 p.m.: Bridgeview Drive and Highway 101. Tree down, 6:55 p.m.: South Bank Chetco River Road.
Saturday, Feb. 13 Fight, 12:03 a.m.: 98100 block of West Benham Lane. Lost property, 10:26 a.m.: 700 block of Chetco Avenue. Criminal mischief, 10:31 a.m.: 500 block of Fir Street. Animal complaint, 10:35 p.m.: A dead dog found on Sporthaven Beach was believed to have washed up with the tide. Hazard, 10:50 a.m.: Harbor Fire Department cleaned up a diesel spill in the English Village parking lot. Driving complaint, 1:35 p.m.: Police received a report of an SUV with California plates speeding and its occupants throwing trash out of the window on Highway 101 southbound near Rainbow Rock. Non-injury accident, 2:51 p.m.: A man driving a U-Haul drove into McDonald’s causing minor damage to both the building and the vehicle.
Sunday, Feb . 14 DUII, 2:12 a.m.: A 51-year-old Vancouver, Wash., man was arrested for DUII and possession of marijuana in the 600 block of Fifth Street. Non-injury accident, 5:40 p.m.: An officer came upon a boy who crashed his bicycle in the 600 block of Fifth St. The officer reported that the boy was not injured. |
