Heidi Elaine Hughes, 25, St. Helens, was sentenced Jan. 13 for her Jan. 6 conviction of endangering the welfare of a minor and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 36 months’ probation and to pay $1,887 for the endangering conviction and 15 days, consecutive, 36 months’ probation and to pay $600 for the frequenting conviction.

David Dean Julian, 41, Brookings, on Jan. 13 had his diversion for driving under the influence of intoxicants revoked. He was sentenced to five days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $2,000.

Kenneth Alan Payne, 21, Gold Beach, was convicted Jan. 14 of possession of a controlled substance and theft. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $342 for the possession and five days, to be served consecutively, 18 months’ probation and to pay $435 for the theft.

Nathan Charles Hoffman, 30, Crescent City, Calif., on Jan. 14 was convicted of theft and failure to appear. He was sentenced to five days in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $695 for theft and 15 days, to be served consecutively, 24 months’ probation and to pay $435 for the failure to appear.

Daniel Andres Lichtenstein, 24, Portland, was convicted Jan. 14 of possession of marijuana. He was given a conditional discharge and sentenced to 10 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $1,070.

Josue Lozada, 20, Wedderburn, was convicted Jan. 14 of furnishing liquor to a minor. He was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, 18 months’ probation, and to pay $885.

Kevin Lee Richards, 35, Smith River, Calif., failed to appear Jan. 14 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Kristopher Wayne Simpson, 20, Talent, failed to appear Jan. 14 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Bradley Willings, 19, Port Orford, failed to appear Jan. 14 for arraignment on a show cause order. His diversion on a marijuana possession conviction was revoked and he was ordered to pay $1,000.

Deborah Kay Blair, 57, Brookings, failed to appear Jan. 15 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Jesse Gerard Degroff, 56, Kent, Wash., failed to appear Jan. 15 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

David Paul Heckard, 61, Port Orford, failed to appear Jan. 15 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Joseph Edward Armfield, 21, Harbor, on Jan. 19 failed to appear for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Jesse Earl Badger, 32, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 19 of two wildlife law violations, including shooting the State Police decoy deer after dark with a .22 pistol. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail, suspended, 150 hours of community service, 18 months’ probation, to pay $1,385 plus $200 in restitution and to forfeit the pistol. He was also fined $750 for the second violation and his hunting license was suspended for two years.

Amber Cheri Clark, 47, Brookings, failed to appear Jan. 19 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Kenneth A. Payne, 21, Gold Beach, on Jan. 19 had diversions revoked for driving under the influence of intoxicants and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. For the DUII, he was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, consecutive to another sentence he is serving, 24 months’ probation and to pay $1,660. For the possession of marijuana, he was ordered to pay $1,000.

Dayton Otis Holcomb, 68, Gold Beach, was sentenced Jan. 20 on his earlier conviction of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, 24 months’ probation and to pay $2,135.

Brandy Brianne Abel, 23, Bandon, on Jan. 20 had charges of initiating a false report dismissed.

Adrian Alonzo, 22, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 20 of criminal mischief. Sentencing was set for Jan. 22.

Jonathan Scott Archer, 24, Brookings, failed to appear Jan. 20 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Bradley Dean Cupp, 24, Brookings, failed to appear Jan. 20 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Dustin Anthony Matlock, 23, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 20 of hindering prosecution. Sentencing was set for Jan. 27.

Cathleen Ann McGhie, 44, Bend, failed to appear Jan. 20 for arraignment on a show cause order. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Dennis Craig Paxton, 19, Smith River, Calif., failed to appear Jan. 20 for arraignment on a show cause order. His DUII diversion was revoked and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Linnea Kristin Hansen, 58, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 21 of harassment. She was ordered to pay $445.

Christopher Allen Bowman, 18, Port Orford, on Jan. 21 had charges of failure to attach a big game tag in plain sight dismissed.

Adrian Alonso, 22, Brookings, was sentenced Jan. 22 on his earlier conviction for criminal mischief. He was sentenced to 72 hours in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $565 plus restitution to be determined within 90 days.

Travis Dan Niemann, 46, Temple, Texas, was convicted Jan. 22 of resisting arrest. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail and to pay $500.

Bobby Douglas Landers, 19, Brookings, was convicted Jan. 22 of probation violation. His conditional discharge sentences for identity theft and possession of methamphetamine and his deferred sentence for theft were revoked and he was sentenced on those convictions. For the ID theft, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 18 months’ probation and to pay $347, for the meth conviction he was sentenced to 10 days, 18 months’ probation and to pay $300 and for theft, 30 days, 24 months’ probation and to pay $407 plus $152 restitution. The jail sentences are consecutive.
