Monday, Oct. 12

Criminal trespass, 8:09 p.m.: 300 block Fifth Street.

Suspicious conditions, 8:49 p.m.: 400 block Maple Street.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 13

Tree down, 8 a.m.: Near 98900 block North Bank Chetco River Road.

Drug information, 10:45 a.m.: A small amount of marijuana and a smoking pipe was found in the purse of an Azalea Middle School student.

Fight, 1:28 p.m.: 97900 block West Benham Lane.

Tree down, 11:21 p.m.: Marina Heights Loop.

Hazard, Safety/Traffic, 11:26 p.m.: A construction detour sign blew down into the roadway blocking the westbound lane of Easy Street.

Power outage, 11:51 p.m.: A Cape Ferrelo firefighter reported the electricity was out in the Cape Ferrelo area. He checked Cape Ferrelo Road and Carpenterville Road, but did not see any trees down on the lines or any lines down.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 14

Tree down, 5:42 a.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road.

Driving complaint, 7:52 a.m.: California Highway Patrol advised of a reported vehicle headed toward Oregon at a high rate of speed, illegally passing cars on Highway 101 between Smith River and Oregon.

Fight, 8:11 a.m.: 17100 block Parkview Drive.

Hazard, 8:37 a.m.: Public works reported electric lines crackling and popping at Seacrest Lane and Glenwood Drive. Coos Curry Electric Cooperative was notified.

Minor in possession, 10:37 a.m.: An 18-year-old Pacific Bridges High School student was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption after he was reported by school staff.

Lost property, 1:33 p.m.: A checkbook was reported missing in the 900 block Chetco Avenue.

Traffic crash, no injury, 1:45 p.m.: Highway 101 at Museum Road.

Animal complaint, 5:19 p.m.: A man reported that his dog was attacked by another dog while they were walking on Sporthaven Beach.

Fire, 5:36 p.m.: A controlled burn rekindled on Tule Road.

Forgery/fraud/bad check,  6:10 p.m.: Reported at Brookings Police Department lobby.

Theft, 6:46 p.m.: at Fred Meyer.
