Traffic crash, 5:11 p.m.; Two miles up South Bank Chetco River Road, injury involved. Theft, 5:18 p.m.: 500 block of Fir Street. Unauthorized use of vehicle, 5:26 p.m.: 800 block of Railroad Street. Dispute, 6:29 p.m.: 19000 block of Sunray Lane. Illegal dumping, 6:42 p.m.: North Bank Chetco River Road. Fire, 8:43 p.m.: 700 block Valley Street. Carrying concealed weapon, 10:47 p.m.: Chetco Avenue.

Theft, 8:00 p.m.: Ken’s Tavern. Theft, 8:12 p.m.: 16000 block of Highway 101. Theft, 8:34 p.m.: 400 block of Chetco Avenue. Criminal mischief, 8:58 p.m.: 700 block of Third Street. Loud noise, 11:33 p.m.: 6900 block of Oakwood Drive.
Sunday, Sept. 6 Dispute, 12:43 a.m.: West Benham Lane. Criminal Mischief, 5:30 a.m.: Someone moved the construction pylons to block off Chetco Avenue at the North Bank Chetco River Road construction site. Criminal mischief, 7:36 a.m.: Houses and vehicles were egged in the 1000 block of Easy Street. Criminal mischief, 10:04 a.m.: A window was broken out of a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Chetco Avenue. Found property, 3:19 p.m.: A purse that was reported stolen from a vehicle at Harris Beach State Park on Aug. 20 was found in the 19900 block of Whaleshead Road. Violation restraining order, 3:24 p.m.: 700 block of Fifth Street. Dispute, 5:44 p.m.: 100 block of Tanbark Road. Juvenile problem, 6:53 p.m.: Police spoke with group of juveniles who were maliciously stopping cars on Railroad Street. Foul odor, 7:17 p.m.: Police received a report of the foul odor of sewage at Ransom and Highway 101, but the source was not located. Lost property, 7:47 p.m.: Oak Street and Highway 101, motorcycle helmet. Traffic crash, 8:28 p.m.: End of Bridge Street, rollover accident on private property with no injuries. Suspicious conditions, 10:29 p.m.: 200 block of Marine Drive, possible prowler.
Monday, Sept. 7 Suspicious conditions, 1:30 a.m.: 1100 block of Chetco Avenue. Suspicious conditions, 3:17 a.m.: A report of loud banging sounds at Moore Street and Arnold Lane was determined to be a CTR truck picking up garbage. Skateboard complaint, 11:43 a.m.: A 13-year-old boy warned for not wearing a helmet while skateboarding in the skate park. Hazard, 7:19 p.m.: Several citizens reported that the traffic control lights at the construction site up North Bank Chetco River Road were blinking red in all directions. Criminal mischief, 9:05 p.m.: A man reported a juvenile in Stout Park struck his car with a rock as he drove by. Disorderly conduct, 9:41 p.m.: A 42-year-old male transient was arrested for disorderly conduct after police had several complaints of him standing in front of the theater challenging passers-by to fight. |
