Found property, 11:30 a.m.: A BMX bicycle was found at Highway 101 and Constitution Way.

Driving complaint, 11:44 a.m.: Sutter Coast Hospital advised that a heavily sedated patient left in a vehicle headed toward Brookings.

 Unauthorized use of vehicle, 1:53 p.m.: A man and a woman took a car from 101 Auto Sales for a test drive and did not bring it back.

Unauthorized use of vehicle, 3:03 p.m.: A man reported his silver 2005 Dodge pickup stolen in the 01100 block of Winchuck River Road.

Suspicious conditions, 3:09 p.m.: Fern Street.

Threats, 7:53 p.m.: Les Brown’s tow yard.

Burglary, 6:09 a.m.: Voodoo Lounge.

Juvenile problem, 9:01 a.m.: Azalea Middle School.

Harassment, 1:38 p.m.: 600 block of Old County Road.

Theft, 2:35 p.m.: 500 block of Pacific Avenue.

Misuse of 911, 2:46 p.m.: 500 block of Fern Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 2:10 p.m.: A red glow in the sky seen from the 400 block of Pacific Avenue was investigated.

 

Thursday, May 14

Hazard, 5:15 a.m.: A mile and a half up North Bank Chetco River Road.

Hazard, 6:37 a.m.: High standing water was reported on Highway 101 north of Ransom Avenue.

Suspicious conditions, 9:03 a.m.: A parent reported her teenage son was followed by a suspicious male while inside a store in the 300 block of Fifth Street.

Information, 9:58 a.m.: Citizens complained about the firework fundraisers jumping into the street, at Fifth Street and Chetco Avenue, trying to collect money from motorists.

Misuse of 911, 9:59 a.m.: 400 block of Alder Street.

Criminal trespass, 1:35 p.m.: A condo manager reporting a trespasser in the 1400 block of Seacrest Lane, but the report was determined unfounded.

Hit and run, 2:19 p.m.: A witness reported seeing a hit and run accident on Fifth Street.

Intoxicated man, 3:21 p.m.: A man first seen lying near the front door of the Chetco Community Public Library, was later seen falling off his bike near Dairy Queen, and then continuing south into Harbor.

Lost property, 4:31 p.m.: Brookings area, hearing aid.

Burglary, 4:41 p.m.: 800 block of North Second Street.

Threats, 5:17 p.m.: Threats and harassment between two Brookings men over a dog was reported in the 400 block of Knoll Lane.

 Hazard, 6:19 p.m.: Cows on the loose on South Bank Chetco River Road.

 Dispute, 8:30 p.m.: A dispute between roommates was reported in the 700 block of Second Street.
