Friday, April 10 Loud noise, 1:04 a.m.: A resident in the 500 block of Spruce Street was reportedly disturbing the peace. Suspicious conditions, 8:52 a.m.: A visitor to Azalea Park left his vehicle unsecured with the motor running. Dispute, 9:37 a.m.: A dispute over parking at a business in the 1000 block of Chetco Avenue was reported. Threats, 11:47 a.m.: 15600 block of Highway 101 South. Assault, 1:04 p.m.: Lower Harbor Road in front of the “Big Green Ghost.” Suspicious conditions, 3:10 p.m.: Three juveniles contacted for hanging around a vacant house in the 900 block of Fifth Street. Bike complaint, 3:13 p.m.: A juvenile bicyclist at Ransom Avenue and Fifth Street was warned for not wearing a helmet. Criminal trespass, 3:33 p.m.: 98100 block of East Hoffeldt Lane. Misuse of 911, 4:08 p.m.: 500 block of Fifth Street. Fire, 7:15 p.m.: 800 block of Railroad Street. Possession of drugs, 7:26 p.m.: A 19-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana at Railroad Avenue and Tanbark Road. Dispute, 9:24 p.m.: An intoxicated man was causing a disturbance at a tavern in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. Found property, 9:30 p.m.: 400 block of Oak Street.
Saturday, April 11 Illegal camping, 8:43 a.m.: Lucky Lane. Found property, 9:18 a.m.: A wallet found at Stout Park was returned to its owner. Suspicious conditions, 9:54 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported in the Azalea Park during the Easter Egg hunt. Panhandling, 1:11 p.m.: 800 block of Chetco Avenue. Dispute, 3:20 p.m.: 700 block of Spruce Street. Dispute, 5:47 p.m.: 97900 block of Court Street.
Sunday, April 12 Curfew violation, 12:12 a.m.: Harris Beach upper lookout. Loud noise, 1:47 a.m.: A 22-year-old man cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana in the 800 block of Pioneer Road. Suspicious conditions, 9:44 a.m.; Highway 101 South. Found property, 10:06 a.m.: A wallet was found in the 300 block of Railroad Street. Its owner was contacted. Hit and run, 1:33 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street, damage to a parked vehicle.
Monday, April 13 Assist outside agency, 12:01 a.m.: Brookings police assisted Curry County sheriff’s deputies in resolving a dispute at Hideaway Bar and Grill. Four people were arrested. Dispute, 11:52 a.m.: A custody issue was reported at Kalmiopsis Elementary School. Fight, 12:56 p.m.: An altercation between two students was reported at Azalea Middle School.
