Tuesday, April 7 Suspicious conditions, 1:49 a.m.: 800 block of Kevin Place. Fire, 10:10 a.m.; A report of fire in the 96000 block of Casey Lane turned out to be a controlled burn. Alarm, 11:32 a.m.: Burnt toast caused fire alarm to activate at Brookings-Harbor High School. Found property, 12:28 p.m.: 300 block of Fifth Street, credit card. Dispute, 12:49 p.m.: A domestic dispute and harassment were reported in the 200 block of Cypress Street. Theft, 2:35 p.m.: The theft of merchandise was reported in the 800 block of Chetco Avenue. Dispute, 6:56 p.m.: A dispute between neighbors regarding a cat was reported in the 200 block of South Hazel Street. Suspicious conditions, 11:02 p.m.: A Brookings woman reported a man tried to enter her vehicle as she was pulling out of a Chetco Avenue business. Wednesday, April 8 Warrant service, 1:18 a.m.: A 48-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in the 600 block of Chetco Avenue. Traffic crash, 10:22 a.m.: A non-injury fender bender while exiting a parking lot in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue. Burglary, 11:06 a.m.: A residential burglary was reported in the 1200 block of Moore Street. Criminal mischief, 1:08 p.m.: A high school senior reporting his vehicle was damaged during prank night. Assist public, 3:04 p.m.: Police checked on a disoriented elderly man crossing street in front of traffic in the 300 block of Fifth Street. Theft, 8:43 p.m.: A 16-year-old boy was arrested for theft in the 300 block of Fifth Street. Thursday, April 9 Disorderly conduct, 6:12 a.m.: Disorderly conduct and harassment was reported between two females on North Bank Chetco River Road while driving their vehicles into town. Theft, 10:05 a.m.: A 38-year-old woman was arrested for theft in the 900 block of Chetco Avenue. Hit and run, 10:08 a.m.: A witness reported a semi truck ripped the rearview mirror off a parked vehicle on Chetco Avenue. Traffic crash, 1:03 p.m.: Highway 101 and Parkview, no injury. Threats, 3:27 p.m.: 400 block of Pine Street. Suspicious conditions, 3:45 p.m.: Oak Street and Pacific Avenue. Found property, 4:31 p.m.: Railroad Avenue, wallet found. |
